CBFP Facilitation Phase 2013-2015

The Facilitation is now provided by the United States of America for the period 2013-2015. The Focus of the United States’ Facilitation ist to promote African leadership to address the critical threats to Central Africa’s forests and biodiversity, with the ultimate goal to advance the conservation and sustainable use of the region’s forest ecosystem.

 

 

♦ Clear and concerted African Leadership

 

♦ Action to address critical threats to biodiversity and forests

 

♦ Full participation in efforts to adapt to and  combat climate change

 

♦ Effective institutions, regulatory regimes, and governance to address forests and wildlife
