FSC Congo Basin Regional Standard approval

The FSC Policy and Standards Committee (PSC) delivered a positive approval decision for: “FSC-STD-CB-01-2012-EN Congo Basin Regional Standard EN”.

The regional scope of the standard covers The Republic of Cameroon, Republic of Congo, Republic of Gabon, Demo-cratic Republic of Congo, The Central African Republic and Equatorial Guinea.

The standard is approved as of 26th April 2012 with number of conditions set by the PSC, which need to be addressed by the end of 2012. In the meantime, the standard will be used by all Certification Bodies (CBs) operating in the region with the an-nexes for each country.
